So, confronted with these evidences, we are satisfied enough to conclude that:
1. LaRouche is virulently opposed to Judaism to the point of denying its status as a religion,
With regard to these evidences, we can conclude that it is fair to call LaRouche an active ANTI-SEMITE.
We therefore confirm some previous Court verdicts. Here is the judge's decision dismissing LaRouche's libel action against the ADL, in U.S. Labor Party et al. v. Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith, No. 79-11470 (N.Y. App. Div., 1980):
Plaintiffs [LaRouche group] have linked prominent Jews and Jewish organizations both in this country and abroad with the rise of Hitler, Nazis and Fascism, the international drug uade, and a myriad of purported conspiracies that have bedeviled the United States and the world at large, including a conspiracy to assassinate the U.S.L.P. leader, Lyndon LaRouche. At a minimum, under the fair comment docuine, the facts of this case reasonably give rise to an inference upon which the A.D.L. can form an honest opinion that the plaintiffs are anti-Semitic. (p. A-13)
(Source: "Secret Agenda - The United States Government, Nazi Scientists and Project Paperclip, 1945 to 1990" by Linda Hunt (1990); pp. 149 )
Indeed, in October 1980, New York State Supreme Court Justice Michael Dontzin held that the AntiDefamation League's characterization of a LaRouche Group as antiSemitic constituted "fair comment," and that the facts presented in the case "reasonably give rise" to such characterization. LaRouche even blamed the Jews after his indictment in 1988:
"If they (he "Oligarchy") prevail on this account, during the course of the 1990s this planet will be plunged into a global New Dark Age, into a holocaust of famine and disease from which, possibly no member of the human species might survive. They care nothing for this; they care only for their damned ideology, and, like Shylock, for their damned shekels. " (From THE HOST OF HERMES - 25 Dec. 1988)
Based on some recent posts on factnet.org; laroucheplanet.info proposes the following scale to help "rate" LaRouche's degree of anti-semitism :
Mild, negative a-priori against "the Jews".
Popular "Christian" anti-Semitism (Pauline Christianity 1, St. Augustine, Martin Luther leading to popular myths/urban legends about the Jews: from "money/usury" to... drinking babies' blood )
Established anti-Semitism: e.g. the Catholic Church, despising the Jews (they "killed God"), yet will utilize them for usury practice and diplomacy. Jews are not allowed to mix with Christians: creation of Ghettos, shtetls , pogroms. This strategy of isolating physically the Jews from the rest of the population was the first stage of the Nazis' "Final Solution" (e.g. the Warsaw Ghetto).
Revisionism. We place it here because their concerns are to combat “jewish power” in the world. It is more harmful, in our view, than the “established anti-Semitism”, yet doesn’t propose a “solution” to the “Jewish question”.
Inquisition solution: forced conversion policy (or be expelled). Suspicions raised against Jews who converted to Christianity.
No hope for conversion (Luther), let’s expel them all and burn their synagogues: e.g. pogroms, neonazis desecrations of tombs, etc. First “nazi solution” (ie to expel them to Africa).
Racial anti-Semitism (Nazism). Jews are a “virus” that infects the “body” of the nation. No expulsion, exterminate them all: Final solution.
We would rate LaRouche’s degree of anti-Semitism at minimum.
Indeed, at , the “conversion” is not to “Christianity” but to “larouchism”, yet using them for his own needs while negating the Holocaust .
HOWEVER, when LaRouche published "Calls to war" like "America must be cleansed for its righteous war by the immediate elimination of the Nazi Jewish Lobby and other British agents from the councils of government, industry, and labor..." (From: Jewish Lobby page), he is not too far from degrees or even of anti-semitism. It would be fair in this instance to call him a "small time Hitler".
And here is what some Neo Nazis think of LaRouche:
"He is apparantly a guy advocating our cause by using politically correct terms so as not to be labeled an anti-jew. He has some very interesting writings, especially about the federal reserve."
From stormfront.org, the largest and most popular white supremacist forum on the Internet.
Now that the facts are clearly established and the verdict delivered, you'd be wondering question #2: "Many members of his organization are Jews. They cannot be working or be associated with an... anti-semite, can they? Shouldn't they know?" Good question indeed. To answer this we have to explain the phenomenon we call the "Jews For LaRouche".
LaRouche's answer to these "slanders" (i.e. calling him an "antisemite"); here at schillerinstitute.org.
It is fair to call LaRouche an antisemite as both neo-nazis groups and Jewish organizations consider him to be such an anti-semite.
Yet LaRouche denies to be an antisemite because he is not a antisemite. This is true.
His hostility to "Jewishness" is (as always) "higher" than mere "racialism": it is part of his "higher war" against the "Whore of Babylon" of which Jews happen to be "cultural heirs". So, what appears to be, rightly so, antisemitism is, in LaRouche's mind a war against the evil "Whore of Babylon" which Jews happen to be part of, especially since the crucifixion of Christ.
Facts speak for themselves. His campaigns and writings are antisemitic. Consequently LaRouche is perceived as an antisemite. Since he never tried to correct this, he is therefore an antisemite, be it a "higher" one...
1. LaRouche wrote: "The problem among Jews is ancient. The B'nai B'rith today resurrects the tradition of the Jews who demanded the crucifixion of Christ, the Jews who pleaded with Nero to launch the "holocaust" against the Christians." (Source: New Pamphlet to Document Cult Origins of Zionism, --Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr, New Solidarity, December 8, 1978.
Although Jesus' death had been ordered and carried out by non-Jews, most Christians believed that the Jews and their priests were responsible. St. Paul later proclaimed that the Jews "killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and drove us out, the Jews who are heedless of God's will and enemies of their fellow men..." (I Thessalonians 2:15-16) [...]
By the fourth century, Jews were generally despised by Christians everywhere. St. Augustine, one of Christianity's most influential leaders, likened the Jewish people to Cain, who had murdered his own brother and thus became the first criminal in biblical history. St. Augustine wrote that Jews were a "wicked sect" and should be subjected to permanent exile because of their evil ways. John the author of the book of Revelations presented Jesus calling certain Pharisees "children of the devil", i.e. (John 8:44). It has been a source of "Christian" antisemitism (equating all the "Jews" to "Children of Satan" or even to satanism). LaRouche has published several pamphlets "Children of Satan" taking on some Jewish figures.
